This drum has no cracks or noticeable damage on the wood rims or shell. Please review photos closely, as this is exactly what you get. The finish is beautiful.
The snare drum snares are original antique gut wire.
The person I purchased this drum from installed a non-original drum key holder with key on this shell. (See pictures 11 & 12)
It is a terrible match, so I
almost took it off to sell without a drum holder and key. Then I figured I would let the new owner decide if they want to replace it with original.
The drum will be well packed with plenty of bubble wrap and shipped in a stout cardboard box.
Before shipping, I untighten all lugs, so the heads are loose. This helps with any expansion or contraction during shipping.
