Late 1960's SlingerLand 8 Lug Chrome Snare Drum.Original Case,Stand. Very Nice!!

Description

This snare has been in the same family since new and stored away for a number of years now. It took some research, and since serial numbers are not real reliable with Slingerland I went to the badge. This particular badge lines up with the years 1962 to 1970 and the serial number 230547 dates it to around 1968-1970. There is no rust or pitting on the chrome just general abrasions and light scratchs one would expect. The tape on the bottom is there just to hold the tensioner in place as the sloppy string job needs attention. Picture 8 shows a bend in the slot where the tensioner strings thru. Should be easy fix. Case looks great on the inside and okay on the outside..This one was  taken care of over the years. Pictures accurate..Thanks.
