Ludwig Acrolite Blue Olive Badge 5"x14" SnareTextured Gray, Ebay Global Shipping

his auction is for a late 1980's Ludwig Acrolite with the textured gray finish.  This drum is 5" x 14" and features 8 bowtie lugs.  It has the Ludwig P 85 throw off and butt plate.  There is a muffler which works as it is supposed to.  The blue and olive badge has a serial number of #3129036 and is firmly attached to the shell and has not been removed or changed.  Both heads are Remo Ambassador.  White coated on the batter side and clear on snare side.  The snare wires are Ludwig and are missing one strand.  They have been attached with new Ludwig snare cord.  The rims and all tension rods and washers appear to be original and are in good shape.  I have completely cleaned and shined this drum.  It is tuned and ready to go.
I have owned and sold a lot of Ludwig Acrolites over the years.  This is kind of a late period with the gun metal gray, textured finish.  When Ludwig finished up with this style of Acrolite , they went to the Black Galaxy / Blacrolite drums.  I have not seen or owned very many of drums like this one. There is a date stamp inside that makes me think , this drum is a 1989.   I am not certain of that, but that is my hunch.  All the threads work and all tension washers are there.  The drum is in round and tuned up easily.
